its been awhile.. i wish i had new updates...but besides the rock hitting that pano piece between the sunroof and the windshield and shatterring it into pieces, nothing exciting happened...yup that piece is more expensive than the windhsield...go figure!

Thank you! Cant wait for the spring to re-do the nose...
Its abit of both...the grille's base coat is plasti dip, but the stripe is color matched to the car over the plasti dip for ease of removal.
The bumper is plastidip...this spring it will eithe get a hi-gloss black or CF makeover to match the hood intake scoops.
Ya know i was thinking with all that lip "damage" i just might do a splitter... got some ideas and materials...just need time
Thank you sir!

I see u started working on the front again, I'm just curious did u ever end up color matching the wheels? I'd like to see that, looking at some of your photoshop and test pics, I think if color matched it would look tight
#292
^ eah the front got to me...its was peeling...chipped...so had to do it..on my benzo i had to do it almost every year due to the harsh road conditions and long driving...its like sand blasting
I painted my wheel with plasti dip..white...thats a last time i am ever gonna do that...the breaking heat and dust turned into a nightmarish looking...i still want to get my white wheels...maybe once i find desire and money to get the gtr or Z wheels..since these stock ones are not worth doing...
anywho..new bumper paint YAY ( next i'll try to finish the intake/scoops, after i am done with CF wrapping that grill...)

Car looks great and I agree that white wheels would put it over the top. I see you're a MA guy (I'm in RI) and if you want to keep your factory 18's and make those white then you might want to look at Powder Pro in New Bedford and deal with Steve. That way you could match it up nicely and wouldn't even have to worry about taking them off for the winter.

Thank you! ...the pics are below...i was going to Cf wrap the emblem...but i dont think i can do it without the vacuum chamber...too many curves/sharp corners...i am sure a pro can do it with his eyes closed...not this guy yet so i decided to go simple...emblem body-color matched
Thank you...not a bad thought....i might just buy an extra burger and see what can be butchered
Thank you!
i did have white wheels, done with the plasti dip...and it looked great ... i am that person who doesnt think too much white is too much
I was also thinking of white rims and white walls on the tires...muaahahaha
Yes i have a buddy who runs RimPro in Tewksbury...in case...but spending that much to re-do stock wheels doesnt make sense to me, when i can buy bigger/wider wheels for the same cost...time will show...my buddy is looking for a set for me right now...

What brand/style are your halo rings and where did you get them from?

I know you don't care that much for Black Rims but IMHO that is what your car needs to set it off, the right size probably 20's no bigger with a nice deep 3 inch lip with some nice clean spokes and a white lined center piece offset by some spacers so your wheels stick out only about an inch or so from under the wheel wells would make your car look mean and get it that haunched look.
IMHO white rims is too much white on this car and takes away from the attention that all the other mods give it, you need some black rims to compliment the rest of the mods you added that are black and don't bother with the stripes at all (that's too much IMHO).
Other than what you've already done I wouldn't go any further because once you add too much it takes away from the car's natural aesthetically pleasing look that it has already.
Keep up the great work though, you are setting a trend of individualism to the Max (pun intended).

not even hating man, just being honest. You have a sexy sexy ride for sure. Well done.
Only thing I request is that if/when you go with different wheels please choose wisely (as I'm sure you will based on how meticulous and aesthetically appealing your current mods are)
That one guy I think down in FL has a white max with like white rims or white and black rims to go with his theme and I think it looks great
Looking forward to see what u do

Your whip looks awesome, the only thing that throws the car off IMHO is the stock rims. That was the first thing I got rid of when I got my car besides adding some tint to my windows.

The rims and tint...you nailed it!
+1

Just like Bk2K3Max said....rims and tint ...maybe i'll pull the trigger next year

again, man: sick, sick whip. very nicely done.
let me ask you this: did you end up pulling the trigger on spacers? if so, what do you think? worth it? would you recommend it or nah? do you scrape when going up steep inclines? pothole situation? does it absorb them better??
just wanted to pick your brain about that a little bit as you're in ma & i'm in ri and these roads are no joke

Spacers:
I thought about them and read tons...i just dont feel comfortable employing them on my daily driver...i driver over 100 miles a day, so similar to me slowing down on getting anything else done to the max...
I am not sure the spacer got to do anything with scraping or absorbtion...i think you might mean the Eibach lowering springs? I dont have any issues and its the best for this MAX right now...i would recommend it to anyone !its simply a must!
Same hesitation i have about buying a new set of rims..but i will need to since mine are bent from never ending 495 construction...its like they work on it continuously
