Question license plate cover photo blocker

So, I just gotta ticket by a photo/camera system. I was searching on Amazon for some sort of blocker; i found 2 options:

1- spray- which I read reviews that it does not work!
2- Photomaskcover Smoke Anti Photo Radar License Plate Cover Blocker Shield Protector (No-Ticket Guarantee)-

which they have better reviews. The clear version has mixed reviews.
However I do not wanna get the smoke version, jut the clear one, this way my car would not stand out

Anyhow, I rather buy one that's recommended by you all.

Please post your thoughts, especially if you have it and know for sure it works 100%. Also where you got it from and price.

Thanks!

these license plate cover things never work. on top of that around here feds pull you over and give you a repair order to remove them or a ticket for having them. by far you will see the best results from a radar detector/jammer

how is a radar detector going to stop a camera?

just pay attention to the lights and if you end up in a situation where its gonna snap a photo, quickly cover your face with your hand !

You are correct, Radars would help with Speed Cameras as long as you got it on, but you need to slow down to prevent the picture from being taken.

I rather have a piece of mind that I am always protected...

There is gotta be a plate cover out there that screws up the picture from showing your plate info. I can not believe all of the ones are that are being sold online are bogus!

There is gotta be at least one out there that works.

well duh, I wouldnt expect their system to recognize me based on my facial apperance

I dont know about other states but here in CA a photo of the plates AND the driver is taken. Citation is sent to the plate owner but if you're not the one that was driving the vehicle, you simply go to court and provide your drivers license along with the mailed photo of you driving. When the judge sees that you're a male and the driver was a female, you're asked to provide their information so the citation can be transfered over to the actual driver.

When the face is covered you can just tell them that you can't tell who it is and a lot of people drive your car in daily bases Never tried this myself but hey it might work

here in MD our speed cameras just photograph your rear license plate - no face shots - and send you a $40 ticket no points. only way to reliably beat them is to slow down or get a $500+ detector/jammer. something I use that helps me with stationary cameras is an app called Trapster, but around here we got mobile vans and even mobile cameras that go all over the place so..

no idea how red light cameras work, never ran one so they might be different and take a pic of your face

Random Idea's....just got home from work

1) a light with a polarizing frame filter. By forcing a light over the plate, then removing the reflection with a polarizing frame 90* to the source. Similar to how you can only see out of one lens using the cheap polarzing 3d glasses at the movies. If you move your head 90* you can then see out of the other eye....sounds a little ridiculous lol but...

2) IR blaster. Simply flood the back of the car, plate area, with IR light. I think there are LED's that are capable of this. I would imagine most cameras do not have IR filters, so they would pick this up, similar to how you can "see your remote working" with a video camera. This is invisible to the naked eye but blinds cameras.....(got the idea from the movie 'inside job')

again this is mostly a rant.....take it as is lol

...And the license plate flipper if caught can get you tickets for "stolen plates" or unregistered vehicle.

Folks, BREAK THE LAW, GET CAUGHT, Enjoy your ticket. For those that are speeding, running red lights, etc, you all are just plain dumb and it scares me to be on the road with you. Think of others, not just yourself because the law of averages and good ole Murphy will step to the plate one of these days and it'll be YOUR memorial posted at the top of Maxima.org.

AND, I'm closing this thread as you all know, discussion of illegal activities here on the org is forbidden.
