Rim fitment question w/ photoshop pic
So I ran across a guy selling some 8.5x20" rims from a Buick Regal GS
http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/...l-GS-wheel.jpg I think these rims are HOT and would look great on a Max. They are a 45 offset, but would require a hub adapter. The smallest adapter I can find is 25mm thick. If I did my math right, that would mean they would stick out 36mm further than my stock rims. Is this correct? And more importantly will this rub the fender? Here is a quick photoshop to give you an idea what they'd look like. http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/...142/Maxine.jpg |
Those are from the LaCrosse right? They do look nice but as far as that kind of math, I'm kind of lost myself. Somebody chime in who knows about this. I'm curious to know if that will work without fender rubbing.

Buick Regal GS wheels 20x8.5 with a +45 offset with a 25mm spacer... The new offset would be 20mm. 20mm is good because you would be flush. Rubbing the fenders I think not. As long as you go with 255 or less width tires you should be fine. Are you lowered on Eibach? Coilovers?

I thought the largest available stock Regal wheels were 19's?

20's I think would fill the gaps nicely without having to lower it
