I am getting the VSC and Traction and BRAKE Light
I have been reading about this online for a few months.
I read that it might be low brake fluid, filled it, no change.
I have also read that maybe I need to change my brakes.
Which type of pads should I buy? AutoZone has Duralast Gold Cmax for $50. A guy at Autozone told me he would install them for me for $50. so total $100 job, no rotor resurfacing.
Most places like firestone have Wagner Thermo Quiet, Everywhere is quiting me $190 for the whole job, including pads and resurface rotors. I also found a $50 off deal so essentially $140. but I get my rotors resurfaced and its at a reputable place.
Also which pads are better?

It depends on how many miles you have on those pads. Try to take it to the dealership to check maybe. Hawk hps or ebc reds are popular .I have the ebc reds with ultimax rotors nice and quiet but you probably wont need rotors or even a brake job..depends.

When I had my G35 coupe I had the similar situation. Eventually the car had trouble starting. Brake fluid wasn't the issue, it ended up being my crankshaft sensor. I'm not sure if that diagnosis carries over to the Maxima, but it maybe something to think about.
