My Traction Control, and airbag sure don't like the cold.

2011 Max SV.

When is friggin below 0, the Traction Control disables itself.

Below 15, and the airbag woudl do the same, until the interior warms up a bit.

Anybody else in frigid temps see these same things?

Luckily, it is not as slippery out at -0° as it is at 30°.

Nissan's way to tell you to go back to warm bed! LOL!

I can understand the airbag, but not the traction control. When was the last time you had the brake fluid flushed?

I have somewhat the same issue. When I press the VDC off button, the traction control does not turn off (no visable light) and yes I can tell it is not turned off as there is no wheel spin in the snow, it just slow down RPM's. I check my brake fluid and it is good.
In any case it is going in tomorrow for warranty work. I'm using up my extended warranty, as my seat frame is covered, I'm going to get them to check all that stuff tomorrow afternoon.

My Max was out in 10 below temps (and even colder, Minnesota sucks) more than a few times and never had an issue with either

Damned if I know. Just got it in Oct. It had 80k on it.

So, is the brake fluid touchy on these things?

When I press my VDC off, I get the little light the says it is off. I guess you have something wrong.

The one on the left is VDC off. The one on the right is what I have go on and stay on in the brutal cold.

Now that it has warmed up a bit, no problems.

What is this about the seat frame?

Move

So far I haven't had any problems with my 2011... But I am not in the cold and don't intend to be either. :)
