Changed air filter...did I break this part? It's loose now. (pics and vid included)

So I changed my air filter the other day...unlatched the air box but, but it's always a little tricky getting it open enough to get the old one out and new one in, so I had to apply some force to that whole intake area to get it done. It kind of popped when I did and now the plastic housing going into the front side of the air box is just loose and I can't seem to figure out how to get it snugged up again. The two pieces seem to be the same size so doesn't look like one will slide into the other. Thought somebody might know something about it. Thanks!

Check This.....

Make sure your Filter housing is fully seated. It looks like the right side is seated but as you go towards the left its hitting face on. Otherwise it doesn't look like you broke anything. Hope that helps...

Looks to me like plastic housing screw not tightened ...at around the 20 second mark

Ok..thanks for the suggestions. I will check both. Does the black plastic tubing that comes out of the front of the air box and works its way around along the front there actually a functional part of the intake or is just for noise baffling, etc. ?

The part that runs along the front funnels air into the tube which in turn feeds cool air to the box. I have one maxima with a cai and I pulled all this stuff off but that is with an exposed air filter and an open grille that inlets air a lot quicker than stock grille. Hope that helps.

Mine has always been loose. It's not an airtight fit - it doesn't need to be.

And that part is necessary to keep the intake air temperatures down. Remove that part and your car will sound so awesome and it will then be sucking in nice hot air under the hood. Not good for power.
