What Was The First Thing You Did To Your New Maxima?

Hi Guys! I just bought my first Maxima yesterday, I am coming from an Infiniti G35 Coupe, since I have a kid having a coupe wasn't working out to well. I bought a fully loaded 2010 and I am in love. I am curious what was the first thing you guys did when you bought your car? What "upgrades" did you just HAVE to do when you bought it? Glad I found a nice forum! Hope to hear from some people soon!

Tint and an intake. But if I had it to do over again, I'd do tint, stillen front lip spoiler, and eibachs lowering springs as my first 3 mods.

Racing line Y-pipe, racinine rear sway bar, eibachs, tint.
To me, those are the "must do" mods for this car.
Wheels are the next step after those.

Placed an SV badge on the trunk, replaced all interior lights with 6k led, and upgraded all front lights to HID and led. Also installed cxj spacers and new K&N intake and did the dvd bypass. Next up is trunk mod with leds. Havent done anything lowered or exhaust wise just yet.

I have a question, does lowering the car with eibach springs void the warranty

First thing was tint the windows, something I think most people do especially when they live in a place where it is hot most of the year around.

all great starting points! im going to tint the windows, and debadge for sure. One thing I really want to do is switch out the entire lightning to LED's. Does anyone body know what you need exactly for the entire interior? (How many and what size) I'm also looking to get some HID's for the fogs and to switch out the factory ones, id like to get those pure white BMW color temp HID's, do you guys have a favorite or preferable brand you like to go with?

New (to our family) 2010 Maxima SV Sport

Bought ours used and the previous owner already had the windows tinted (smart thing to do here in Texas).

First thing I did was install 25mm wheel spacers in the rear and OEM cargo nets for the trunk (which my wife appreciated).

It's now in the shop getting a full inspection by a friend who certifies cars for a local dealership and he's installing Eibach springs for me (along with Eibach camber bolts up front and SPC camber kit for the rear).

Next is to install other items that just came in--a Borla exhaust, 3000k HID kit for fogs, Stillen intake, a custom subwoofer enclosure and stuff I had from our previous vehicle (2-10" Alpine subs and amp).

Also ordered a RacingLine Y pipe and WeatherTech DigitalFit mats.

It looks like the battery is about to give out, so I may get an Optima YellowTop.

Seriously considering an RL rear sway bar with end links, upgraded full-range speakers for the rear, and a Stillen front lip.

Future wish is a set of 370Z 19" staggered wheels in dark grey. :-)
