It's Hard to Say Goodbye

Hi Guys. I've been a lurker around these forums for the last year and half. Back in Nov 2013 I purchased a 2009 Max SV with 59k miles on it. I loved everything about it. The tech specs, the luxury features such as heated steering wheel, panoramic roof, etc. My gf at the time was living in CT and i'm in jersey so every weekend I would drive up to go see her. And I just love to drive in general so we took lots of small road trips. In the year and a few months I had the max I put over 30k miles on it. Also my interest rate was up the roof. 18.99 for finance. I've done a lot to repair my credit this year and once I hit the 90k miles mark I thought it might be time to trade her in and see if I can get something newer at a better rate. I traded her in this weekend for a 2011 Audi Q7 at 4.99%

As I moved all of stuff from the max to the audi I was sad to say goodbye. She never let me down and always performed when needed. I definitely grew attached in the short time I had her and when the salesperson drove the car off to the back of the lot I was left standing there with a slight tinge in my heart. The Q7 is a completely different ride than the max and it'll take some getting used to. The response time and throttle of the mufflers, etc. I'm looking forward to new road trips with the Q but I don't think anything will compare to the max. I'm a bit envious of you guys!! Here are some pics of the max throughout the time I had her. I also posted BC Coilovers in the classifieds. Enjoy

Nice rides man, definitely a great color you had on the Max. But the Q7 is dope, enjoy it.

Hardest car I have had to say goodbye to was my '02 Cougar XR. I bought it with low miles in 2005 and traded it in 2012, longest I ever owned a car. It was still a looker when I traded it in, had the really cool red/black leather seats with the Cougar logo in the front seats. I had it for almost 8 years and put over 120k miles on it. It was a 2nd vehicle for a lot of that time so I was able to keep the miles down until I got divorced. It was only on the lot for about 30 hours and they had it sold lol, rare car around here and looked great.

My Max is actually my first real car since I was able to repair my credit after my divorce. I was paying 17ish % on my Cruze and only 6.2% on my Max.
