Movement/loose Driver's Seat

First off, I did do a search on this and found nothing...in case this has already been addressed.

I have a 2011 SV, and I've noticed within the past month or so that my driver's seat moves a little bit especially when accelerating up a hill or just accelerating fast. It only has 50K on it. I dont fool with the seat settings at all really. Set it when I bought it and have only had to move it back some after my wife took it out a couple times. I know this happens sometime when you have a big fatty driving it all the time and putting too much force on the back of the seat, or "standing" up into the floorboard so to speak to get a wallet or whatever. I'm only 185 so its not me...not sure about the first lease owner. I mentioned it to the dealer and he just shrugged and said, "I dunno...there arent bolts that we can just tighten up" Well whatever, but its getting annoying. I find myself pulling up on the steering wheel some so I dont feel that little pop when I accelerate and get pushed back against the seat. Anyone had this issue? Advice? Thanks ya'll!

There is a large number of members here with the same problem. Early on the seats were replaced by the dealership under 3 year warranty. Luckily for me my 2009 SV is not afflicted with the problem. As for a DIY fix there is none that I know about. You can use the search feature above and it will give you a number of threads about this issue. I'm sure some with the problem will chime in and give you their experiences.

This is an issue with every year of the 7th gen. Your dealer knows about it they just dont want to replace the seat frame since it's not a permanent fix.

Did you buy your car as is or is it a CPO? If it's a CPO it should've been fixed before it was sold.
If the problem started after you bought the car you may be SOL...
