Intro - First post, new 2009 Maxima Owner!

Hi guys, wanted to introduce myself to the forum. After doing some extensive looking around for a new car to purchase, I settled on a 7th gen Maxima. I picked up a 2009 Maxima SV, Sport Package with 70k miles for $14,000 cash from a local dealership. I am the 3rd owner, clean title, no accidents, bone stock. Weather-Tech floor coverings and rain guards for the windows is all this baby has done to her, which is going to change here real soon! This is my 2nd Maxima, I previously owned a 5th generation, 2001, back in 04-06.

Thanks in advance for the info and questions you guys might be able to help me out with!

- Ry

Need to get tsb 09-138! First need to see if it makes a weird low pitched sound around 30-45 mph and like 1500 rpm if it does then get it done. It helps with acceleration off the line like a mother. Also gets rid of the noise and weird vibration. It's a reflash of the Tcm. They will do it for 09 and some 10 but 11s and forward have it reprogrammed from the factory. Look up the tsb and research it further but it is the best thing I've done.

I noticed the car does seem to be in a low rpm gently accelerating from 20-40mph and that it seems slightly out of whack to say. Ill check it out. Thanks

crazy man!

the one i bought with the 70,000 miles like yours is the same color also! the only thing I would change about mine is the plastics in the cabin, so many creaks and stuff but I love my car! one of the best looking on the road in my opinion.

Nice choice. I bought my 09 brand new when they came out. I still love it. Although it's still new. It only has 37k on it. I'll probably keep it another year then sell it when I'm itching for something New and a change.

It's a great car. I've had zero issues with mine. And I did the tranny reflash made a nice improvement
