Is there a way to down load music from my phone to the music box hard drive?
Or is there a way to play my music through blue tooth vs. using the cable?

No and no.
Need an 11 or newer for increased functionality.
You can buy a blue tooth adapter that plugs in under the center arm rest and then pair your phone to that if you want a blue tooth music solution.
