Sorry dude. It's weird that it doesn't do it when it's in neutral. i am trying to think of what changes other than the transmission when switching from D to N. Perhaps its something in your axles/cv joints which are making that noise?
best of luck to you and keep us posted!

I dont think it will do it, and there is no load on the car.
Im going to give it to the dealership so over trying to fix everything myself.
It's not somethings I can do brakes, oil, tranny fluid, mirror led repalcement, radio swaps, even installed the fortin carstarter myself.
But this....
this is has got my head is a wrap as I dont have hoist to test anything, nor the money to start randomly replacing ****.
heh

It does sound like the strut bearing, the creaking will not happen on a jack.
and Ball joints, links have no play.
The tire rods are tight axel is good too,
And the side making the noise has a new wheel bearing...
so I guess struts is next

Just had the car up again everything is okay -- cant be the strut mount bearing because the spring would be hopping and I would feel it in the steering wheel.
I am thinking it might be the outer tire rods... just based on sound from other videos on youtube.
I am at 114km which sucks it all starts breaking after 100km powertrain warranty of course -- wheel bearings (been there done that)
Anyone else replace the outer tire rods?
