Great !
It would be interesting if you can post a list of all the repair that had been done to your car beside usual wear and tear. |
66666 is on the way

Wow, that's a lot of miles for only using 1/8th of a tank. :o) (what's your secret?)

HA! I just picked up a 2013 SV w/ Sport Package. I went thru 1/8th tank in 25 miles!
Came from a 2007 Mazda6 5-sp. I kinda miss the MT. |

If I drive in a straight line it refuses to hold and rpm even though I'm not accelerating turning or going up a grade. Poor transmission at best. |

All highway mileage and driving with my fingers (no brake, cruise control to slow and speed up) I have found AC usage is approx 5mpg penalty but one I gladly pay in the summer in central Florida! 580 miles tankful in winter, 460 in summer!!

Depending what level the gauge is at I notice that it drops very quickly at certain points. Mine takes forever to get down to half tank then a little slower to 3/8 then it just drops fast from there. Very unpredictable if one didn't know the car well and was out west on a long open road with no service plazas. Or NJ or NY with the traffic.

Luckily, my wife had an '09 Altima and now a '15 Pathfinder, both with CVTs so I'm fairly used to how they behave. I don't particularly care for it either so I usually stay in manual mode and use the paddle shifters to simulate the MT. It's not the same, but I really wanted a newer car and once I drove this thing, I had to have it. The wife can't drive MT, so the Maxima is a fairly good compromise IMO. |
