Would anyone know why automatic headlights would stay on all the time ?

This may have started after the battery terminals were cleaned. My friend tried to sign up for the forum but can't post yet.

Basically when set to auto the lights are on during the day and still turn turn off when you exit the car and close the doors so I don't think it's a fuse but who knows.

Does your friend have a dash mat in the car? If you cover the light sensors, (located on the dash beside the front dash mounted speakers) the lights will come on during the day as the sensors will read that its dark out.

Nothing changed, only recent service was for battery corrosion.

He does have an extended warranty so maybe it's covered
