What's in my Steering
Let me try best to explain.....
The steering gets mushy and soft when accelerating, and under perfect driving conditions...no rain, snow.... nothing Imagine driving in the rain, and your front tires are lightly hydroplaning, so the steering feels mushy soft. The steering isn't loose or have any dead spots, so with the mushy feeling, the car is going in the direction of the mushiness. Where do I look or check? The fluids are topped off, axles are great, new tires and rotors and pads. felt mushy steering when I bought it at 36k, now has 101k. Help! |
What is the condition of your suspension and tires? My struts and shocks were beat early in its life.
|
I may have to consider checking and or replacing the entire suspension system ( always best to when start) then get car realigned.
The observation started at 36k miles, ..... |
And tires. Im running some Cooper AS3 max all seasons. Dampers are oespectrum from monroe. Dampers are way better at rebound than oem and not punishing by any means.
