Hit a f***ing pothole

So another year of a bent rim, the other 'fixed' rim now needs to be fixed, using "wheelfixit" in Freeport, NY where my body guy uses, and going to replace these POS tires w 245/50/19 continental extreme contact DWS06, Mavis guy told me they should fit with no issues, what do we think?

Yes my car will have higher ground clearance and 'less mileage' however the OEM Goodyear Eagle RSA's must have a **** sidewall that allows the rim to bend but never pop the tire so upsizing hopefully will alleviate some of these issues and also the continental's from my experience were always a good tough tire and never had any bends on my other Maxima's.

Any input or experience would be greatly appreciated... Thanks :D

Best advice get out of New York 😂😂 just kidding man I was right there in Bellmore and I got a flat 2 days after picking up my max I was furious. Those pot holes are a killer man. Luckily I'm down in Florida now so it's all smooth roads. I've had great experiences with the continental brand I say go for it hopefully that will solve the issue. Good luck!

Can't answer your question, but you should put a claim in with the City you live in and ask for reimbursement.

New York exempt themselves between 11/15-4/30 to any reimbursement with potholes and ofcourse it is on a state road, I went through this last year.
