7th Gen “spider” rims

Hello all, I have a feeling this topic has been covered prior to me asking this, but I’d really love to know about the specific “spider” style rims for the 09-11 Maximas (I’m not entirely sure it was just these years, but if I remember correctly, they only came factory on these years). I’m not entirely sure that they’re called spider rims either, because every time I type that into google, it always shows me multiple ones and I don’t know the actual name of the rims no matter how hard I searched. I also don’t know which packages they were offered on either. I know I’ve written a novel, but if anybody can please help me with this topic, I’d be much obliged. Thanks in advance!!!

The Premium SV (18 inch wheel) and Sport SV (19 in wheel) came with different style wheels in years 09-11. Post pictures and I will tell you what one in on which vehicle.

It’s between those two wheels. I’ve seen both of them on what seems to be the S and SVs, but I can’t figure out which package came factory with those first spider-style rims, or whatever they’re actually called.

The top picture is the 19 inch wheel that came standard for the SV Sport only.
The bottom picture is for the 18 inch wheel for the SV Premium and all lower trim levels.
Both wheels can be interchangeable to all trim levels.

The wheels on my 2012 look different, more snowflakey. But I like it. And the Sport Package came with aggressive design and a smoked look. I loved the sport wheel, but I wanted my refinement (panaromic sunroof and stuff), so I got the SV with the 18 inch wheels. Never really felt like spending the money to change to the 19 inch ones. But these spider rims are badass.

Thought I would make it easy here:

1: 18" 2009-2011 S, SV Premium
2: 19" 2009-2011 SV Sport
3: 18" 2012-2014 S, SV Premium
4: 19" 2012-2014 SV Sport
5: 19: 2012-2014, this one I am not sure what the installation was, I am guessing it was an option on SV Premiums?

What tires are used for the 3rd style rims?

I have a stock 2004 maxima and plan on upgrading my rims to the ones pictured above but I was wondering what size tires should I use? My current 04 stock rims have 245/45/18, can i use same size on these? Thanks

The tire size will match, and as long as it has the same bolt pattern as your car, you should be fine. I think the bolt pattern on these is 5x4.5", verify on the listing. Your 2004 Maxima (SL or SE) also should have 5x4.5" pattern.

I'd recommend getting a 19 inch one if you are going to get an upgrade.

Check this link below for alternate tire sizes that are acceptable. The circumference of the tire should be the same or within +/-3% of your OE tires, regardless of the tire's "inches". If you go beyond the variance, you will have drastic differences in your speedometer/odometer output.

Once you know what size tires are acceptable and pick the one you desire, you can look for wheels that can mount those tires. The link below can help you pick the best wheel size for the tire size you have chosen. Again, don't forget the bolt pattern before choosing your wheels.
