Buyer question

Hey Maxima forums,
I am about to buy a Maxima 2013 with 120k miles, it is missing the black (plastic?) shield in the front left wheel well.
Is that a complex (expensive) fix?
Thanks guys.
Oh and another thing it badly needs engine bay wash. What are my options (how to wash)?
Thanks

The inner fender or splash shield isn't hard to put in at all. You just need to finesse it into place. You can get one off eBay or from a parts store, not the dealership, As for cleaning the engine, I get my car nice and warm, take it to a self service car wash bay, spray the engine with the engine cleaner, let it soak in for about 5 mins then rinse it off. Some people will say to cover electrical components, I tend not to, I just make sure that I don't use the full spray pressure when I rinse the engine off.

Definitely cover the electrical components with rags, I've had issues in the past when I didn't do it. Better safe then sorry.

I bought my wheel well liner at amazon for $98 delivered. Basically just uses the push clips to attach.

As far as engine cleaning, A youtuber named ChrisFix has a good guide on cleaning the engine bay with minimal water.

Should I remove the black plastic on the sides on top? I'd prefer so to clean below it.
