Corrected - Central Jack points for the rear

EDITED: Good call out guys. I took a look at the shop manual. I have 3 cars and one of them is an 08G35 which has a central jack point upfront and I got confused because I have done a lot of work on that car this summer. The maxima does have a central rear jack point but DO NOT have a central front point. Luckily I didn't damage my car not paying attention. The pic below is the correct rear jack point. For the front, what I would normally do is use ramps to initially get the front up. Then, you can jack slightly at the garage jack point like and inch or so, just enough to release the ramp tension and set a jack stand on the that same side at the pinch weld points. These are the correct central points to use to get the rear jacked up so you can get your jack stands in place to work on all four corners at once.

As long as it does not put too much stress on the floorpans or the center rails, it could be a good location to jack from . Unibody cars are very tricky to use jacks..That rear brace is right on that Trunk floor....

Don’t suppose you’ve reviewed your manual or FSM?

if you had, you’d have found this ... good luck though.

Might wanna consider doing a little research before disseminating incorrect information.

Many times bud, but good call out. Thanks. I got confused with my cars so I'm glad I didn't damage my **** or ruin motor mounts and such. I also have a 13 altima with the same problem no damn central jack point up front.. That G35 has two central points and is easy as hell to get off the ground without a bunch of BS. I edited the post. Salute.
