Phone Mounting

Hey folks,

Anyone have an elegant solution for mounting their phone? I want to place mine <as pictured> but I don't want to use any adhesive that will potentially damage the soft-touch car plastic.

Any ideas?

If nobody has done this I will be figuring it out and posting a solution

Cheers

None of my findings has it at that spot you've indicated. However, Proclip has it instead on the right hand side of that climate control panel. I've bought the A-pillar base on the left hand side and used it for few months, had to transform myself to get used to operating the phone with left hand. Anyways, I've had several Proclip mounts so far on many different vehicles, they are all solid and extremely stable to mount phones with. The only down side is how expensive it can get. For Proclip setup, you'll need to first shop for a mount base which is customized to your vehicle, then you'll need to buy a holder which goes to fit the base. Be ready to spend about 70-90 bucks for the whole kit. For my driving needs, it's well worth it, probably not for everyone. Good luck.

Scosche magnetic mount for the CD changer. Very stiff, instant strong phone connection, and the base plate hasn't stopped my X from wireless charging. I had a different mount in the changer for five years that didn't seem to cause any damage. Good option if you're not swapping CDs.
