Rear End Clunking

Looking for some ideas on how to track down this rear end clunking.... Car has about 140k on the clock - changed struts, sway bar bushing, and sway bar end links.

There is a clunking from both sides when going slow over bumps and I can replicate the noise by pushing up and down on the rear bumper.

Once I get the car on jack stands to get under there, no luck.

Any ideas? Springs? Control Arms?

All bushings appear to be intact.

TIA

Interesting, ive read that thread several times over the last few months prior to that answer.

Ill have to check it out. Did you find that to be your issue? Or you havent checked it yet?

I havent looked into mone just yet. Mine comes and goes when driving over speed bumps. Ill be going 2 miles per hour no joke and it makes the noise

Ok, so I got under their yesterday and do not believe the evap canister is the culprit.

It appeared to be snug and not bounding around at all. Back to the drawing board.....

There is a tsb for sway bar bushings on 09s causing noise as you describe but you mention you already replaced them (and all the other possible causes.) I am only left with really bad wheel bearings but would think you would notice it in curves as well. Did you change the rear shocks too (you mentioned struts so wanted to make sure you did the rear shocks too)
