Transmission doesn't want to "let go" on hard braking
 

Does anyone else experience the transmission kind of "clunking" right as you come to a stop under pretty hard braking? It doesn't actually make a noise, it just finally kind of "lets go" of the gear with a shove and makes the braking less smooth, kind of like a jerk as the car comes to a complete stop. Am I crazy?

Mine is the opposite. If I do an emergency brake, like if someone cuts me me off, and then I start to accelerate again the transmission seems like it's stuck in a higher gear, like if it was a manual trying to launch on 2nd. I ease off the gas and accelerate again and the torque pics up again.
