Mirror tilt reverse memory

Hi Kerri,
I know you are new but proper etiquette dictates one should attempt a search before asking but I believe the behaviour is addressed below. If not, it is certainly acceptable to indicate i missed the mark and to clarify the question.

The tilt down feature while in reverse is not programable. The outside mirrors are programmable and when they are in the correct position for your driving and you put the car in reverse the tilt will go to the proper orientation where you should see rear qtr. panel and wheels. The tilt down moves the same amount (degrees) regardless of where the main mirrors are adjusted.

Short answer is that you can't, but you can set it so it doesn't auto DIP in reverse by setting the switch in the neutral position (middle). What I did is set my normal mirror settings to M1 and reverse mirror settings to M2.
