Weird electrical problems

Hey everyone, I have a 7th gen(2011) and whenever i gas it more than half throttle the parking brake light will come on the gauge cluster as well as the traction light and it will stay on even after I let off the throttle. It’s been driving me crazy if anyone can help I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Time for a new alternator.

I agree wit Bronx this seems like the alternator is shorting out, Get your alternator tested and go from there.

First check the brake fluid...could be low!

If it's at the right level, then yeah, could be bad alternator.

Hmm never thought of that, it’s also had this problem where I start the car and some of the lights will just not turn on, sometimes one of my headlights will only turn on or sometimes just the fogs and vice versa, could that be from the alternator as well? I had taken my car to an auto parts store to get a new battery and they had checked my alternator with their tester and said that it was fine but I don’t know how accurate those actually are🤔

Could also be a faulty ground. As the car ages the ground connections may corrode or loosen. Adding a grounding kit can solve those problems, along with just checking the existing connections from the Negative battery to the ground. Not ruling anything out, just throwing another idea. That headlight issue is weird...
