Driver's power seat stuck in recline position; moves back not forward

Went to the store and when was trying to adjust the seat from someone else driving it, I realized it was stuck in recline position (back of the seat), so I push the button to bring it back up and no go!

Like a man and a dumb dumb, I pushed the button down more to test the motor and also in hopes maybe it would help un stick it; instead it just gets stuck further back!

Does anyone know how I can get the back of the driver's seat tilted forward a bit more not reclining? I tried pushing the button and pushing with my hand at the same time, and it would not budge! :O

So the motor is good and it can move bacxk more to recline but not forward.

Assuming you ever set the driver 1 or driver 2 buttons, I would try that. That would see if the button is bad or not or if it is the motor refusing to go into reverse. Lacking that or using the other fob, I don't know that I have a simple fix for you. But if anyone does, it would be someone on this forum. And don't beat yourself up for pushing the button down, I would have done that too. It was a good troubleshooting test.
