Have a fuel leak which when I start the car it's started once started car
Hi guys
Got 2013 maxima Got a fuel leak which when I start the car it's started once started the car and its dripping on the passenger side control arm but I don't know I've raised the car couldn't find anything cant pinpoint the source checked fuel rail and fuel line that attached to fuel rail but is there a fuel line going to the passenger side?? And if there is diagram or picture of fuel line routing ill be appreciated https://youtu.be/C4hOkNrfA0c In the video it's gone to another place but main leak starts dripping on lower control arm passenger side |
Dang!!!!! the FSM on FL has what you are looking for but I would bet your fuel line on the bank next to the firewall is ruptured or one of the connectors is off. Remove the intake plenum (like you would doing a spark plug change out) and take a look at the fuel rail. And PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

Also ive done seafoam in my way but you'll understand if you read description and hope you comment on that video it's 46 seconds only 😁 |
I am a fan of SeaFoam in certain instances. For example you drive short distances all the time and have used poor fuel. You have an older car that wasn't maintained. Your exhaust pipe and plugs will indicate the need for a treatment. If the exhaust is black and sooty or the plugs fouled before 100,000 miles, sure...I think it is worth a try. I haven't seen any issues from a treatment although I am not sure how it affects the catalytic converter long term. But your video is very typical of a SeaFoam treatment. Please let us know your experience with it.

I bought the car and there was little vibration at idle they told me it's engine mounts changed and not fixed Again changed spark plugs Then coil packs Then changed pcv valve cause it was smoking Installed catch can Changed new oil and filter Still rough idle pull the spark plug after about 500 mile one of them sooty also the ceramic of the spark plug only one cylinder Thinked about fuel injectors took the car for service they dissasemble, ultrasonic leak test there was one dripping but not the one on that cylinder may be its the cause of rough idle any way after back flush and cleaning tested again for flow rate, leak test, idle test on the device all ok then changed the filter and that leak happened A d decided to check for valves as Iam there and try carborator cleaner to see if it really work or it's a myth but after removal intake plenum and checking its really big difference 90%of gunk and carbon deposit sludge went away that I don't think it'll go by only soaking valves with carborator cleaner which is really shocked me and I don't belive it even ive seen it on YouTube but after my first experience iam really shocked how deep clean it's doing I've used AC. Delco carborator cleaner 2 cans, when I did it my brother he is a car engineer he told me this is waste of money you have to take out the valve and clean it with brush and carborator cleaner at least not like this what you are doing holy **** 😳😳😳 Then I said ok let me give a try and report back to you and actually I bought 2 boroscope from ebay both are useless cause one works on laptop and I didn't find a free software work with windows 7 and other one doesn't work with my huwawi p10 lite or my Samsung A80 but I have led light insert it to. See the valves before and after that's how I come to know about this Hope this will fix my rough idle on stop |
OK

My problem of rough idle went away and fluctuation of Rpm from 700 to 500 so that carborator cleaner did its job 👍👍👍
