Maxima Colors

CALLING ALL PHOTOSHOP EXPERTS:

Can someone create the new Maxima in different colors, so we can drool a little?

Thanks!

I will try. Let me work on the wheels, ride height and de-chroming- then I'll try to PS more colors.

And you might consider giving us the same colors Nissan will:

White
Black
Silver
Gray
Dark Gray
Navy
Red
Strad (Burnt Orange)

This is based on how Nissan has been handling the Maxima the last decade or so.

Nissan holds the Maxima pallate at eight colors. If they add another color, they will drop a current color.

Very nice! That blue is beautiful, but I know there's no chance that color coming out. Black looks great, and the gray looks classy.

Blue with black hood! sold!

You forgot the Beige (Old-Man-Sand!!) That blue would look amazing, didn't mind the colour in the commercial either! Black is always a safe bet too!

I don't think beige has been available on the Maxima in many years. Certainly not on the 7th gen, and surely not on the 8th gen.

The color on the Super Bowl commercial is misleading. That car was bright red, but the twilight and filtered floodlights made it look maroon.

Nissan has muted the navy blue of recent Maxima generations, but may brighten the shade a tad for this new generation. The red certainly has perked up.

Grego214 - Thanks for your work on this.

95VQ30 - And thanks for the work you did on the color versions a few days ago.

I don't usually drag up threads from three months ago, but could not find the thread here that mentioned the white paint situation on the 8th gen.

Buying the 8th gen Maxima in WHITE adds approximately $395 to the MSRP.

I don't know if that is purely because of extra work involved in creating this beautiful pearl white, or maybe because this might be Nissan's first field test of their widely publicized 'dirt repulsing' paints they have had under development in recent years. Or maybe both. I just don't know.

White is currently the best selling auto color, and I have really enjoyed the last six and a half years with my white 7th gen. But I have decided to go back to silver - Brilliant Silver - with my 8th gen. Not because of the extra cost of white, but because I think silver is more in keeping with the sportier nature of this 8th gen.

Nissan began charging for Pearl White paint about halfway through MY2015. Check out any vehicle on the NissanUSA website and you'll see that Pearl White adds $395 to the price of any vehicle. Most Nissan vehicles now offer two types of white as well, one non-Pearl (generally Solid White or Glacier White) alongside the premium Pearl White and in the case of the Sentra and Versa/Note, premium Aspen White.

Bruddamanmatt needs to change his name to Yutaka Katayama. They are two great Nissan experts. Of course Katayama passed away this past February at the young age of 105. But he really got the ball rolling as president of Nissan at the time the Datsun Z made a name for itself in America. Bruddamanmatt has obviously got some of Katayama's genes in his DNA.

We really appreciate the White Pearl clarification.

p.s. - Are you working in the assembly plant in Smyrna, or in Nissan North America headquarters or Nissan Design offices? By knowing that, we can make better judgements of which questions to ask you.
