Changed my Platinum Shift Knob
 

So I decided I would change my shift knob, from the standard black that came with my platinum, to the woodgrain finish look. Fairly cheap and very easy mod, paid around 100 bucks. Like this look much more over the black.

That switch is not very far down my list of changes. I will phone ahead a week or two before my first service visit and make sure they have the new knob on hand. Matches the Platinum interior trim very well.

One detail - The lower leather sheath in the photo with the old knob does not come up to snugly meet the bottom of the knob as the sheath in the photo with the new knob does. Had you already begun removing the old knob before you took the photo?

Haha yup. Good observation. I had just pulled the sheath down when I remembered that I wanted to take a before and after photo...lol.

Did you get a good price on the shift knob?
