Faint Whine at slow speeds

Hey All-

I have a 2017 SV (5,000 miles) and at slow speeds (20-30 mph) with windows up, I hear a very faint whine noise. If I shift to neutral, the whine does not change when the rpms go down. It tells me the noise isn't engine related. I don't hear anything at faster speeds as the road noise drowns it out. I don't know if the noise is from the CVT or if it's normal.

Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

Having the same issue with mines, going to take it in soon, hopefully it gets worse so I don't have to play no games with them.

Mine is whining when I drive real slow through the parking and only happens in the 1000-1600 rpm range, once I give it some gas it dissapears.

It's normal. Electric power steering. Most nissans have this whine. Nothing to worry about.

Could it be the fans for cooling the front seats? Make sure they're off.

I think it may be the tensioner belt like mfshehri said, i will get it checked when i go in and have the tech ride with me, it sounds more like a belt whine, cause as soon as i give it gas , its gone.

It wasn’t the power steering pump after all, got her back today and now I can create the noise while I’m parked, gotta take her back and have them check the tensioner.

LOL I think it's the OP subconsciously whining that he's going slow.
