Will 7th gen axle back exhaust fit on 8th gen Maxima?
I have a stillen axle back exhaust that I had on my 2013 Nissan Maxima. I now have a 2016 Nissan Maxima and am wondering if it will fit. It looks like it should. The other thing is the 13 had a gasket between the axel back exhaust and the y-pipe, and the 16 doesn't.
wondering if anyone has done this or has any insight? |
I've tried the 7th gen borla catback on my 8th gen and couldn't get the muffler to work. I have to redo the hangers and the mufflers angle, i doubt they will work. I'm selling my borla catback for the 8th gen if you're interested.

Just an FYI, Stillen currently has 15% off on some items - expires 10/31/17. The axle back exhaust was $527.63, save $79.14 - comes to $448.49. |
OP sell your 7th gen axle back set up and buy the correct 8th gen set up. Or go check out the resonator delete thread here... sounds pretty impressive to me.

I have read good reviews on Magnaflow exhausts. You might want to check it out.
