New Purchase

Just purchased a 17 Nissan Maxima Platinum in deep pearl blue. I have yet to take delivery of it as I am adding 3M paint protection, window tint, and crystal fusion paint and interior coating. I am also ordering a laundry list of Nissan accessories. I will keep everyone updated on the car. I will post pictures as when I take delivery.

Welcome! What accessories did you get? I just ordered the rear diffuser yesterday. Can’t wait to install it. Enjoy the car, it’s a good one!

WadCutter106, congratulations! I'm not familiar though: What exactly is 3M paint protection? And crystal fusion paint and interior coating? Did Nissan do/offer? What was the cost for each?

3M is a clear wrap material that is put on the front, hood, lights, rear section by the truck. I am having the stuff put on the interior rocker panels to protect against foot scrapes. Here is a link of 3M paint protection
The price on the 3M was 1500 but i got that with the deal of the car.

Crystal fusion is a paint protection like Zilon. I had these items done on my truck when i purchased it. I strongly believe in these products My truck still looks as if it rolled of the show room floor. http://www.xzilon.com/xzilon_difference The price of the crystal fusion was 900 but again that was also wraped into the price of the car.

Thanks! Did the Nissan dealer do both, or did you have done by someone else?

The dealer is having a third party perform crystal fusion and 3M. R.P.M is doing the 3M and 20% window tint all the way around plus a sun visor on front windshield that will be 5%. I also purchases the black SR 19 in wheels and good year tires. The look of the car is going to be sweet. Car should be done by next Wednsday. Here is some pics of the car as I saw it on the lot today.

Yes the car has that installed from factory. Yes the 3M was money well spent as well as the clear coating that gets applied over the clear coat to prevent further scratches. It also protects the interior from stains. It has a 5 year warranty plus if the car gets dented they will pull dents using the painless dent removal procedure.

Looks good but I really dislike those black wheels. The stock ones look much better imo and flow better as well with the color of this car. Not hating man and I know looks are very subjective. But as long as you are happy that is what matters. I think the black wheels look better on the midnight editions color wise.

That's the beauty of cars. I hated the stock wheels lol. Love the black wheels. But to each his own. Thanks for the input.

For me, black wheels and their spoke detail seem to get lost as a monchrome blurr along with the black tires on this car color. I realize it's just me not keeping up but I forecast the chrome elements will return one day.

I like the black wheels. The pictures don't show the details at all, but in person you can still see the shape and lines of the rims even it is black.

The hydro dip on the interior plastic trim is not my thing, it makes the trim pieces stand out too much. Perhaps just the good old carbon fiber wrap would be better than the blue shade, but even carbon fiber would contrast too much with the wood trim. Oh well, it is just my opinion, so pls don't take me seriously.

Not to say everyone has there own opion. But I think it looks so much better then the cheap looking plastic on the doors u look at every day. It's a personal touch. I enjoy it. That's what matters to me That's the beauty of customising cars to ur own personal style

Wow, outside of the red kylo-ren Max, this is the first grill lighted max I've seen and I must say that looks great! Was it difficult to install?

To be honest I had http://www.maxrpmusa.com do the install because they spacalize in it. But the install looks clean and very easy. There is no switch on dash but on a remote.
