Can't do it while driving?

If the vehicle is in motion (3 mph or more) it will not allow you to input an address. if your parked and cannot input an address take it to Nissan.

You can however use voice commands while moving and once you get used to the jargon, it is easy to shout out the whole address >house number+street+ city+state and the nav system usually finds the destination. (or will at least give you some choices) The deal is to speak loudly and clearly without pausing. This navi is so far ahead of the messy Acura system I had on our ILX which was almost un-usable for daily activities

hmmmm....maybe that's it....and i just hadn't tried finding an address while driving before....i'll check this out...thanks

Ditto on this. You can see the buttons flip from disabled to active as soon as you come to a stop. It's odd that some options still remain active, maybe they figure some options require more attention than others

ok....so i'm apparently a complete idiot, lol....would probably help if i opened the owners manual too...but this place makes it easier to just ask

i guess i just never tried to put in an address while driving...weird

the other options only require a couple taps of the screen as opposed to typing an entire address so it's understandable
