Turn off date/time info on text readback?
 

I just got a 2016 Maxima Platinum, loving it so far! Does anyone know if it's possible to make the car stop saying the date and time a text came through when it reads the text?

devilboy95, don't think so, since following are only settings I'm aware of (from page 4-11 from attachment):

You would probably have to go to the phone settings if its there or even download a different texting app for the phone that would support your request. Also you could check your carrier if that is an option.

Sometimes messages that originate on a Crapple/...er Apple phone insist that all the header info be read as well. We gave up and shut that message read feature off.

Thanks for the input/suggestions gang. I'll see if I can change it through my Android App, never thought of that.
