Repairing torn Stillen kit

After 17yrs of owning my Stillen kit, I finally tore the rear bumper piece. Tore pretty good. I backed into a grassy berm and didn't think much about it so I pulled forward. Big mistake....

To begin with, our Stillen kit is made from polyurethane and not polypropylene, correct?

Went searching on You Tube and found this video for repairing polyurethane. My question, have anyone repaired a polyurethane bumper cover, any hints, advice or comments

find some stuff called duramix or similar product. get a roll of fiberglass/mesh backer.

rough up the back side and apply the duramix...work quickly. once the product is on the back around the broken part push the mesh over it and get a bondo squeegee and work it in and over the mesh. depends on what mix you have once it's harden it's pretty much part of the part. if you have visible crack on the front sand off all the paint and apply the duramix and fill it in like plastic filler. let it harden full and sand it down and paint.
