rear brake kit options

I have a 96 nissan maxima and i just purchased a set of 30mm calipers for the front but wanted to know what options I have for my rear. Thanks

Since no one else has posted here I'll help you out as best as I can. The only rear big brake kit I know of is by one of our own forum members who has his own website with the kit here:

http://blehmco.com/rear_kit.htm

It is definitely pricey though.

You wont even't really need a rear kit if you just put the 300z calipers on 300z rotors. Move up a cobra 13" rotor bbk and then you need a rear kit. I have the front brackets

thats what i'm trying to do is put 13" cobra rotors and wanted to know what i can put in the rear

so will the rear 300zx work on my maxima

not without significant mods. I used to sell a rear kit that made the 300ZX rear brakes work on a 4/5 gen, but I quit making them due to the high cost and low sales numbers. Just not enough demand to justify the cost.

Use a higher friction pad in the rear.

It's all relative to the pads you have up front. It takes a much better understanding of braking systems than the average Joe has to start fiddling with bias via compound selection, but its doable.
you have to know what you're starting with up front for one.

fastbrakes.com has a 12'' rear kit for $300.this is the kit that im doing on the rear of my 97 i already have their 13'' 4 piston front kit and is a very nice kit and simple to install.
