compatable MAF's for 3.5

What are the other maf's( if any) that are interchanable between year to year ie; Z32, pathy, etc.
Mine is going out on my '02 and i really dont want to pay for one from the stealership.

You could get one from a 2001, part # 22680-2Y001, and transfer the IAT from your 2002 MAF. It will work without the IAT too, but will throw a CEL. The 2Y001 is about $90 typically.

really? me too

i would think that putting in a 350z MAF might make for longer lasting performance unless its the actual same part #.

Nismo3112 Apr 10, 2006 01:43 PM

longer lasting performance? :gotme:

If it doesn't work, I'll buy it from you... :hide:

Btw, I didn't realize you had an Alti, but I'm guessing it doesn't make a difference for the 02-03s.

vsamoylov Apr 10, 2006 03:26 PM

the thing about the mafs from 350z/g35 is that the connector has 1 less wire

BUt if it's the Cialis version you'll need to show your mechanic if it stays in perform mode for more than four hours at a time.

Here's the interchange for an 02 - the later production dates, if your's is an earlier date it may differ.

frm 8/02, 4 Dr (Sed), AT
2 I35 02 frm 1/02
3 I35 03-04
4 MAXIMA 02 frm 12/01
5 MAXIMA 03

NmexMAX Apr 11, 2006 06:11 AM

in that case i paid 400 for it:laugh:
