I think I may have found a typo in the FSM!

Anybody got an 02 FSM and want to help a brotha' out?

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out why I can't communicate with my 02 ECU with a scan tool or Nissan's Consult II computer. I think I may have found the problem.

On page EC-761 of the online FSM it shows PIN 1 of the diagnostic plug going to the ECU but on page GI-42 it shows PIN 15 going to the ECU instead (and nothing at all happening on PIN 1). I have it connected the first way and I get no communication. Also, reinforcing my theory is the plug for our generic scan tool has no female pin to go into PIN 1 of the diag. plug but does have one for PIN 15.

Anybody have time to look at your FSM and see if I'm wrong here, please?

thanks fellas,
Fred

Well crap, I swapped PIN 1 and PIN 15 on the diag. plug and tried the scanner but it still didn't talk to the ECU. So, now I'm really lost. I don't know what to try at this point, this project is getting the best of me....
