Bose? Checked the FAQ's

I need to know if the Bose headunit has RCA preouts for an amp. I know I will probably get flamed for using the Bose headunit and that I should have done a search, but I didn't have time to do the search. The reason I am using the Bose is because I just have an amp and sub laying around that I want to get some use out of. I am just needing a quick answer.
Thanks

no, there are no RCA pre-outs for an amp. You will have to do a little bit of wire hacking... but quite simple. Just don't expect a simple plug-in input. It requires splicing the signal from one of the amps... search search search for more info.

You can get an adapter from PAC. I think the model number is AOEM-NIS2. It plugs into the harness behind the dash, and gives you 2 sets of preamps. That's how I'm setting mine up. Any car stereo store should be able to order it, but be prepared for them to not understand what you want to do. Both the places i went wanted to hack up the wiring and but in a hi low converter. Good luck.
