CD player won't work if car is running, works fine if car is in "on" position???
I just bought a Clarion head unit for my 2nd vehicle. It's a Clarion DXZ615 in a 88 Chevy S-10. Here is the problem. It works perfect with the ignition in the "on" position. The tuner works good, the CD player works good. When the truck is running, the CD player comes up with a "error3" or "error6" message. :( According to the owners manual, it means the CD is upside down, even though it is not??? I've double checked all my connections and regrounded the unit. Any ideas why the CD won't read when the truck is running???

Maybe the actual head unit is broken, I would either call up Clarion or take it back to the store where you got it.

Good idea, one of my friends AT&T phones seems to interfere with stereos when it's about to ring and when it is passed between the front seats, sort of weird but goodluck man.
