Since I've been asking ?'s about different size gauge wires to feed multiple amps in the trunk, check this out. While at work this past week, I came across a 1awg (if that's how you write it) gauge wire and I was thinking of using this wire from the battery to a distribution block in the trunk to feed the other amps. Now I realize it's a overkill, but it's free. With this wire, can you say "zero voltage drop" between the battery and distribution block. Ok, now let me have it

Is this cable superconductive? I don't think so. No such thing as zero voltage drop, however you should theoretically get healthier power to your gear. The only thing you need to overcome is the installation challenge with the large gauge wire. You can't get something for nothing. Think about it.

1 gauge probably is overkill for most installations, but there are folks out there running dual 0 gauge wires for some monster systems. You won't get zero voltage drop, but the resistance (and drop) decrease with area, so you can figure out how much of less of a drop you'd get compared to a "normal" gauge wire.

take the back seats out then take off the rear deck cover. its just held on by those plastic things so just pry it off.
