multi-channel amp selection

I have been reading posts for several days...I am unable to find a good answer for multi-channel amp selection. I have installed RF Fanatic Q components (~100w) up front and RF HPC2206 (~75w) in the rear deck. I plan on getting an Alpine 7894 head unit. Questions:

1- would you suggest one multi-channel or two 2-channel amps?

2- which brands? I am looking at Soundstream, Phoenix, Lanzar, & Kenwood. I would like to keep it under $300 (ebay!!)

Thanks again for the help.

Unless you want different amounts of power to front and rear I would recommend saving money and space and getting a four channel amp. Some good four channels for under $300 would be:

1. Monitor-1 MK4.70
2. Xtant A4004

I like these two better than the brands you mentioned (except maybe Pheonix but I doubt you could find the Titanium 4 channel under $300 anyways)
