Can't wire Shock&Glass Sensor to both work w/ OEM Alarm

Well, I am unable to get the Shock&Glass sensors to work if both are connected to the OEM Alarm/BCU. I have used this TUT as reference http://www.vqpower.com. Here is a diagram of how I am wiring the sensors to the BCU.

Here is a list of the configs that works/doesn't work for me.
1. Only Shock Sensor connected -> Works. :)
2. Only Glass Sensor connected -> Works. :)
3. Shock Sensor & Glass Sensor+Diode connected -> Doesn't Work. :banghead:
4. Shock Sensor & Glass Sensor w/o Diode connected -> Doesn't Work. :banghead:

I have also tried to connect the extra sensor to Trunk trigger and can't get it to work either. Can someone who has gotten both of the sensors to work together with the OEM Alarm please lend me a helping hand? Thanks for the help.

you need to diode isolate both of them, the way you have the glass is backfeeding to the shock.

ok...got diodes on both sensors and still no go. both sensors now appear not to be working, The cathode is facing the sensor. Do I need to add a diode to the hood trigger wire as well? Thanks for the help.

did you try it at the trunk pin?

Nope...forgot to try that. Previously had 1 sensor connected to the trunk trigger w/ and w/o the diode and noted that it did not work. I'll will try both sensors w/ diode connected to the Trunk trigger and report back.

you only need the diode on one of the sensors!

When I install sensors to the factory alarms, I always run them through relays, and hook them to the door trigger so it turns on the dome light. You can see if they are working before you finish the install. You can use the trunk trigger, or whatever, i just find it easy to check with a light coming on each time. It is also easy to adjust the level with a visual confirmation. Good luck.

Ok, got both shock and glass sensors installed and ended up connecting the glass sensor to the door trigger like you suggested. Everything works fine now except, when the alarm is off, the glass sensor is still active and when even it picks up sound, the door ajar light on my dash comes on. Is there a way to keep this from happening?
