Finally Decided to get aftermarket....but now I don't know what to get.
I am tired of the Stock 2k2 Bose system malfunctioning, So I am going aftermarket. I don't really want a "booming" system, I just want a good CD player and quality sounding music. To my understanding it is best to replace the HU and speakers, but I still have a few questions.
Is it necessary to run new wires? Is there a way to keep the stock bose sub, or should I replace it? If I need to replace it, can you use the amp that comes with it? I have an old 8 out of my sisters car that I could use, but I wanted to see if I could use the bose sub first. Also I would like to get some suggestions on good brands of HU and speakers to meet my needs. Thanks |
I would check review first and then decide (my choice would be a Pioneer within your budget):
http://www.carreview.com/CD,Receivers/PLS_2861crx.aspx As per BOSE questions check FAQ section.
