CD Text doesn't scroll on my '03 Bose, can it???
 

I added CD Text to a cd I burned and the Bose system can read it; however, it doesn't scroll. It only says Alan Jac (yeah, the first cd I burned w/ text is country, eat it) and I want it to scroll and say the whole thing, "Alan Jackson - (Song Name)." I tried hitting all the different buttons but nothing happened. Anyone know how to get the text to scroll?

sorry to get OT but how do you add text to cd's ive been lookin to do this for a whie.

as far as your problem, my pioneer doesnt scroll either, neither did my sony XPLOD cd player. maybe the bose just doesnt have that feature. theres a couple other cd players ive seen which have a text feature but doesnt scroll.

It was just an option I checked when making the cd. I use Roxio Creator Classic that came with the burner. I forget where it is, but I think it asked if I wanted to add it.
That's what I thought about the scrolling. It is kinda worthless to have the cd text b/c all it shows is the first 7 or so letters. I thought it would scroll b/c some radio stations here broadcast text that scrolls. Oh well.
