The power would be sufficent. As far as Silk or aluminum, it is completely your preference as no one can tell you what Your ears like. Just FYI..I sell Silks 15-1 over aluminums. Softer/warmer sound as opposed to more harsh/bright IMO.

Theyre not the 'best' as nothing really is, its all too subjective. Great set of speakers yes? I did also run them I one point.

Now? I have Rainbow ProfiVanadiums/kickbass run actively from the Arc DXE.

long name for a set of speakers haha, I'm guessing really expensive for the average joe like myself? I spend lots of time in my car so anything better than my type R would be nice. I have plenty of power to power the speakers so Im not too worried in that department, but you still havent gotten back to me about my mono/2 channel :) Selling my JBL is hard but I love the SQ out of this subwoofer, but if I do sell it avalanche here I come.

Yea theyre roughly $1200 for the three way set.

Sh!t I totally forgot. What was it exactly again? Specs wise I mean. I get a Ton of emails,PMs,and IMs everyday. So sometimes people get left behind a bit. My apologies sir.

Well my JBL is rated at 700rms @ 6ohms, I currently run it @ 3 ohms, the amp I have is the a2200hct (I know I know) but I want something that will power my subwoofer at its rated power. I was looking at hifonics brutus 2025 I believe which throws 1300rms @ 4 ohms and the new Infinity amps that throw 1100rms @ 4 ohms. My amp is throws about 800 @ 4 ohms

I understand your a busy man, its all good :)

Diamond Hex's are a good set, not perfect by any means- I agree on the silk option-its the way to go- I could'nt stomach their aluminum tweet on the HEX/M6 setups I've heard- perhaps they are best suited for kicks, as every 5th gen Maxima I've heard the alum tweet in stock location(A pillars) was aweful, dash was waaaaay too busy and alot of reflections. As far as midbass goes, those mids IMO belong in a sealed kick. On stock door locations your best bet is to put a ton of power to get the most performance.

I dont get it really. Its a very hard set to work with. Although it has a beautiful crossover, most ditch it and run that set active to better utilize the drivers. As nice a craftsmanship that set is, I feel Diamond just can make a set sound right. Don, even knows my favority Diamond set byfar is their lowest line CM3's- I would put them up againsts the M6/HEX in overall sound, no kidding. just my .02 cents

Your Choice

I got the diamond audio m6.1 all around in my max and they sound real nice. On my next car I was thinking of getting the s600.1. I bought my m6.1 on ebay, but I would recommend spending full price and getting a warranty on them. Go with silk option i got the aluminiums and they are real high pitch.

Diamond is definitly high quality and sound for a descent amount of money.
