who's the audio tech here?

i need some major help before i go crazy here. 2 probs....1)im running 3 amps and im getting back feedback sounds like the altenator. i was told to run my power wires opposite of my rca's but the feedback sound didnt change. 2)when i plug both rca's into the 1500 watt rockford fosgate punch amp powering 2 10" mtx thunder 8000's (and yes i have a capacitor) they have no punch to them but with one plugged in, that one sub dumps. is my deck just not powerful enough? ive tried switching the plugs and the subs but same thing happens even unplugging the rca's powering my 6x9's it still does it. so if you have any answers that be great thanks

it doesnt matter if you run the RCAs and the power cable together. i have all my lines running down one side of the car with no noises. i'm suspecting a bad ground in your system. recheck all grounding points, and if there's paint on the area...sand it off to bare metal then reattatch the ground. how are your subs wired?

there's a forum on here that's dedicated to audio...just for future reference ;)

try 2 capacitors

most likely the reason your subs don't sound good when they are both plugged in is because they are out of phase, all you need to do is reverse the polarity in one of them and voila. as far as the alternator whine, its ground loop noise, just make sure you ground all your amps and capacitor to the same point, which should be a good ground, like somebody else posted, strip off the paint where you are grounding the amps, and try to make sure the metal you use is one that is not something that is welded on to the main frame of the car, i heve mine grounded on the floor of the trunk, and have no problems

how are you powering up your 3 amps? do you have a relay on your remote lead wire? it almost seems like a remote problem to me. but the alt whine is a ground problem.
