iPod Mini + Alpine headunit :D

Anyone hook up their iPod to their system? I have an Alpine headunit (CDA-9813, 2003 model) with the KCA-420i adapter hooked up to my iPod Mini (through the Ai-NET interface on the back of the Alpine). It works pretty well.

The KCA-420i is supposed to only work with 2004+ model Alpine headunits, but it works with mine just fine (supposedly there are missing "features" but I don't know what they are).

I made it clean by drilling a hole near the bottom of my center console compartment, big enough to fit the small end of the Adapter-to-iPod cable through. The adapter is mounted with double-sided tape to the carpeting of the floor underneath the headunit (under the center console, a couple inches forward of the shifter area). I got the iPod sitting inside the center console compartment hooked up to the adapter cable, stashed away so I don't have to look at it. The iPod is controlled entirely through the Alpine headunit--it sees it as a CD Changer.
Good sound quality, and a great addition to my car :D

FYI, link--

http://www.alpine-usa.com/products/l...h_kca-420i.htm -- KCA-420i iPod Interface
Goes for ~$80-90 (check ebay, but beware, some ebay sellers are offering them with $30 ripoff shipping...)

This interface works with the iPod Mini and anything bigger, e.g. the iPod/iPod Photo
It does not work with the iPod Shuffle.
