Its almost winter and the cold temperatures always affect my door locks. This is with an aftermarket Python 991 alarm.

Using key outside the door functions fine. The lock buttons on the interior function fine. Pressing unlock on the fob with disarm the alarm and unlock the doors. The only problem is when pressing lock with the fob, the alarm will arm but the doors won't lock.

When sitting in the car I can hear the entry module (white box under driver side dash?) click the relays to the locks every time, except, when I press lock on the fob.

This only happens when the temperature drops under 40°F, but heres the catch, even If i blast the heat in the interior for an hour, it Still wont lock like it does in the summer.

I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what the problem could be.

Most likely failing capacitors. Or shoddy quick splice connections for the door triggers.
