Sub output to amp
I want to put subs in my 02 max.....Now since the car has a stock subwoofer in the back deck, can i somehow run a line that basicly taps into the stock sub line and hook it up to an amp which goes to my subs?

Yup. Its called a high low converter, or line output converter, and it converts the speaker wire at the Bose sub to RCA cable, which sends the audio signal to your amp.

They run $20 or less at any audio shop, whether large chain (CC, BB, etc) or custom shop. I doubt Radio Shack.

jl audio makes a piece so you can add amplifiers...probably better than the scosche one youll end up with but price will be alot more obnocxious. you could also look at an audio control with line level input.s

nah u have to run it from the speaker wire, to the converter.....u should really just replace ur head unit....thats wat im doin....i hate the crappy quality and how the subs are some times delayed......im gonna get rid of the whole bose system
