Okay, I guess I'm out of it, but the people that installed my Viper 800 ESP said that it's not designed to go off if someone pushes the front or rear bumpers up and down. To me, there's significant pressure there and it should go off. Are they just BSing me? Or is there any additional sensors that make it go off when the bumpers get pressed up and down like that? They said it only goes off when like there is shock, like when u use your palm to hit the window or something.

Sorry to tell you this, but its true. Most Viper alarms come with a 2 stage shock sensor which detects any type of impact. What you want is a motion sensor which detects any type of motion on the vehicle like pushing the bumpers up and down or shaking the car will activate your alarm. The motion sensor is available as an option through Viper.
